Pinoy humor is stepping out of your FYP and onto the stage as Teatro Marco presents Tententenen, a new Filipino theatre play running from October 10 to 25, 2026, at its black box studio in Maginhawa, Quezon City.
From the team behind the hit plays Ampalaya Monologues and Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin, Tententenen follows Miss Bu, CEO of Bubu Beauty Company, the #1 beauty brand on “TukTok” Shop, as she prepares for her dream mega wedding. But when a Reddit chismis about her future husband threatens to ruin her big event, her team must do everything they can to save the day and, more importantly, the brand.

Set in the world of Filipino influencer culture, Tententenen brings together the trends and RRLs that Pinoys encounter online every day.
Audiences will meet a narcissistic KOL, a hot underwear liveseller, a high-waist-loving dancer, and many more characters who feel as if they have stepped straight out of your phone.
“Sabi nga nila, mahirap i-explain ang humor natin sa iba, isang word o expression lang, gets na natin agad ang isa’t isa,” said writer and director Mark Ghosn. “With Tententenen, we wanted to pay homage to the memes and catchphrases that live in our minds rent-free. Years from now, babalikan natin ito at masasabi na komedya na sa’tin ‘to nung 2026.”
Beyond the memes, the play draws from the worlds of liveselling, fandoms, and blind items, all colliding inside Bubu Beauty Company, where the team must find a way to monetize it all.

The production stars Janine Lloce as Miss Bu, alongside Kcedrick Balagat, Lucky Charles, Jin Mikado, Deane Tria, JP Ortiz, Abby Reynes, Sonson O., Rai dela Cruz, Joni Gee, Hannah Salvan, Rem Delos Reyes and Yan-yan Gervero.

Philippine Fringe Theatre
Teatro Marco is a Filipino fringe theatre company based at its black box studio in Maginhawa, Quezon City. Following the hit twin bill Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin and the Queer Theatre Festival (QTF), Tententenen marks Teatro Marco’s third and final presentation of its inaugural season. Through intimate, limited-seating productions, Teatro Marco aims to introduce more audiences to Philippine fringe theatre with the support of its volunteer-driven community.
